Riley water rescue training at the Annual Fall Fest event held October 8th, '05 at Lake Keowee, SC.
 
Riley is training to be a versatile newf. She is busy being a conformation 'show' dog and also training for her jr. water title. Then onto training for carting. She is a very intelligent newfy and loves to be the center of attraction. SENC Inaugural NCA Water Test-October, 2006. Riley and I trained side by side, every weekend-the entire summer, preparing for the water test. Of course, we had our difficult obstacles to overcome-Oh that dreaded, 'take-a-line'!!! While this was our first water test ever to participate, Riley was very much up for the challenge: chasing bumpers, hauling in a heavy boat, retrieving floating devices, and even swimming out to save me. We had a great time and it was nice to see our club members working together and meeting new people. Riley and I look forward next year's water test!
